I fly out again in August, to Sydney this time, August 8th, for the Evernights Gothla hosted by Desert Moon Dancers, so if you are in NSW, I’m heading out your way and I'll be joined by the fab FiFi Noir! (more on FiFi below) Gothla’s, aka gothic hafla's, halfa is Arabic for party, gothla...well you see the connection ;) are few in Australia – come out and support this celebration of dark belly dance.
Looking back: A wonderful turn out for the OMEDA bush fire fund-raiser featuring as well as myself a HUGE list of Victoria’s best belly dance talent. To all those who came out and supported OMEDA’s fund-raiser for the Red Cross, it was an honour to dance for survivors and heroes of those difficult days – and your ticket purchases went a long way towards helping those in need – thank you!
And on that note - a deep sorry for missing the World Belly Dance Day Fund-raiser: I was *very* ill but I here it was a stunning event - bravo to Alia and I look forward to next year!
* FiFi Noir
And last but not ever least – the mesmerising FiFi Noir from the ACT will be in Melbourne on the 13th of June, and she is a beautiful and dangerously delicious dark fusion dancer I love see perform, I'm pretty psyched for anything circus too! So come out and support the awesome alternative talent we are lucky to have here in Melbourne:
